Daikin Launches the brand new UP SERIES in partnership with Informetis

We are delighted to announce that Daikin Altherma UP SERIES Heat Pumps, powered by Informetis technology, was unveiled at the Grand Designs Live Show on October 3rd 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham.

The UP SERIES of Heat Pumps allows customers to reduce their energy bills without compromising their heating comfort by using the unique AI based smart energy control technology provided by Informetis. In field trials conducted, we have seen savings of up to 30% on customer’s annual energy bills. 

​

In addition to the savings on their energy bills, customers can also monitor the energy consumption of their overall home as well as “visualise” the energy consumed by key large appliances in their home such as Kettle, Washing machine, Microwave and Dishwasher. 

For customers who have installed Solar Panels in their homes, the UP SERIES provides additional savings by using excess solar energy to either heat the hot water tank or the home.

To mark this key milestone in the journey of Informetis in Europe, our President & CEO Taro Tadano made a personal visit to the Grand Designs Live Show last week. We were also honoured to have Mr Tadano accompanied by Mr Tomoji Miki, Managing Director of Daikin Airconditioning UK.
